- Gregory Maguire, author of Wicked, giving CharlOz’s opening talk at the Knight Theater
- Exhibits at the Projective Eye Gallery (at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City) and the Popp Martin Student Union on campus
- Gaming and virtual reality experiences, hands-on creative opportunities, and discussions led by Oz experts from around the country in the UNC Charlotte’s J. Murrey Atkins Library
- Author talks and family activities at ImaginOn in Uptown
- Vendors at The Market at 7th Street on Saturday and Sunday
- Unique presentations at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City, including the the premiere of His Majesty, The Scarecrow of Oz, and a presentation by Gita Dorothy Morena—L. Frank Baum’s granddaughter!
