Janet K. Lee

Janet K Lee co-created Return of the Dapper Men in 2010 with writer Jim McCann, which won an Eisner Award. Since then, Lee has illustrated numerous projects, including two Jane Austen adaptations for Marvel Comics. Her most recent books, Sea Sirens and Sky Island (Viking, 2019 and 2020) are based on a lesser-known Baum series. Currently, Janet is working on her first solo project, a middle-grade graphic novel for Roaring Brook Press. Janet lives in Nashville but dreams of someday surviving a tornado which whisks her to OZ.
