Paige Gray
Paige Gray, a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, approaches the study of children’s and young adult literature as a means to explore questions of voice, agency, and creative expression. She’s the author of Cub Reporters: American Children’s Literature and Journalism in the Golden Age (SUNY Press), and her current book project is Children of the Black Press: How Young People Helped Create an African American Youth Literature (The Ohio State University Press). She also researches ideas of play, thingness, dolls, and American puppetry.
